| The first ACS stood-up in 1946 and AGE has been in it ever since. The GTACS mission is to provide uninterrupted power to provide Joint Forces and Theater Commanders an accurate and reliable air picture for command and control of offensive and defensive missions; and also to provide weapons control, surveillance, identification, inter-service connectivity and battle management of air defense activities within an assigned area of responsibility. |
